Distance 26 miles - 3 Peaks
A tough winter walk from Horton in Ribblesdale covering the 26m circular of Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside, Ingleborough. Led by Ralph Warman. 14 walkers completed the walk with one dropping out at the bottom of Whernside. Conditions were tough with very strong winds all day and driving rain fom midday onwards. The rain had turned to snow by the time we had got to the top of Ingleborough but thankfully it was still daylight and the descent to Horton was relatively
easy, although tiring.
